Janette Allier was founded by European born designer Janette Chrapek. She received
her B.A in Fashion Design from Columbia College. Janette’s designs are made with careful workmanship, hand-made ornaments and with paying close attention to details. In her work she refers back to historical times and European architectures, which are a real source of her inspiration. Each of Janette’s creations demonstrates one of a kind designs characterized by unique combination of the past and the future.

Janette’s designs are for women who want to look unique, sexy and feminine and also women who love to be the center of attention. She also partners on a variety of projects with stylist Deborah D. Goodman with “In-your style.” Janette has collaborated and designed several special occasion gowns for Chicago meteorologist Tracy Butler. Those gowns have been widely recognized for Janette’s close attention to details, choice of fabrics, and color.

Janette also created costumes for independent movies titled, “Runaway Divas” and “Last Dance” by Alexandra Hodowany. Janette designed stage gowns for Miss Illinois 2003, costumes for video clips, and dresses for gala’s and weddings. Most recently Janette designed for the CEO of The Common Ground Foundation started by the actor Common, who won an Oscar from the movie Selma with John Legend.
