DESCRIPTION:Have the time of your life at the annual El Gran Festival Colombiano in Chicago\, Illinois. This two-day festival is the largest event in the area that celebrates Colombian history\, culture\, and independence. This event will be held from July 18 to 19 in the beautiful city of Chicago at the Copernicus Center at 5216 West Lawrence Avenue. SUMMARY:58th Dearborn Garden Walk
DESCRIPTION:Gardening enthusiasts will enjoy taking part in what is considered to be one of the country’s oldest garden walks during the 58th Dearborn Garden Walk\, hosted by the North Dearborn Association. This nationally recognized event draws crowds from all over the world to take part in a one-day\, self-guided walking tour of gorgeous secret gardens throughout Chicago’s historic Near North and Gold Coast neighborhoods. In addition\, visitors can participate in an hour-long guided tour of historic Dearborn Parkway that highlights the outstanding architectural facades in the neighborhood. \nAn intimate garden walk experience\, ticket-holders will experience a variety of private rear gardens ranging from minimalist to classic small gardens and patio/terrace designs; each showcasing the most creative use of outdoor space in an urban setting. Many of the gardens are created around entertaining and sitting areas\, offering city dwellers additional living quarters in the warmer months.
