DESCRIPTION:The Green Music Fest is continuing its mission of making sure Wicker Park gets its party on this summer while taking care of the environment. One-part music\, one part eco-living is the recipe behind the 8th annual street fest\, which has added a third live music stage this year! As in year’s past\, the renowned pedal-powered bike stage looks to generate national buzz – in addition to natural wattage. Programmed by legendary Wicker Park music venue\, Subterranean\, Green Music Fest aims to rock Chicagoans into leading sustainable lifestyles by pairing culturally relevant musicians and programming alongside vendors championing green technology and products\, green services\, green arts & crafts and green family activities – all wrapped up into one summer weekend.
