DESCRIPTION:Fiesta del Sol is an annual fundraising event organized by Pilsen Neighbors Community Council (PNCC)\, a non-profit organization located in the heart of Pilsen in Chicago\, IL. The family-friendly festival draws over 1 million visitors during the four day event\, every year. Fiesta del Sol is the largest festival in the Midwest\, bringing: live entertainment\, local art\, a variety of food\, carnival rides\, a children’s area\, educational resources for parents and youth\, soccer games and much more. \nWe organize Fiesta del Sol each year because it generates revenue to the Pilsen community\, it brings business to local business\, it promotes the Pilsen community\, provides scholarships to local youth\, helps build leadership skills to those who help organize the festival\, allows local organizations and schools to fundraise and it generates revenue to help support our work in education reform\, civil rights of immigrants universal healthcare\, and workforce development and more. \nWe focus on creating a positive change by empowering our community through Fiesta del Sol! \nDates: \nJuly 26-29\, 2018 \nHours: \nThursday\, 5-10pm; Friday & Saturday\, 11am-11pm; Sunday\,11am-10pm \nLocation: \nPilsen\n1000-1600 W.
