Mayfest kicks Chicago’s street festival season in to high gear with their 20th annual celebration, bringing fun, music, and food to Lakeview.
Called a “reintroduction to all the warm-weather madness” of street festival season by Chicago RedEye, Mayfest is a one of a kind three-day celebration that kicks off the city of Chicago’s unique festival season. From Chicago’s BEST Bands and amazing entertainment to delectable festival cuisine and delicious beer, the 20th annual Mayfest will be sure to get the summer off to a rocking start, rain or shine.
Oh, and we of course have activities for the little ones in your life and even our favorite four-legged furry friends. For kids and families there is Chicago Kids Day, a celebration of health and wellness. Families and kids can enjoy games, entertainment, and other fun activities. For the pet lovers, the festival will set aside time as the Chicago Pet Pageant and Expo will once again take center stage. Presented by Higgins Animal Clinic, this heartwarming event allows Chicagoans to enjoy the summer sun with “man’s best friend”.
